  • How “smart” health gadgets need smart people to actually help

After everyone got seated with some breakfast, we will run a talk on healthcare, institutional care and personal health. Looking at some common sensors and what they can provide together with AI - and where the human aspect need to come in. After the talk there will be room for questions, and some relaxed discussions.

When the home and all aspects of our life becomes full of technology the companies selling the products promise a golden path to healthier lives and a more satisfied clients in care. As if the human knowledge and personal interactions no longer are needed. As individuals and as a society we already have, and will increasingly get, more and more sensors measuring everything that can be measured – giving data that AI can interpret for us. But is this enough? In this presentation we take a sober and realistic approach to some common sensors and what they can provide together with AI. The talk is an adaption of a talk ran at the conference program of Vitalis professional eHealth conference in April 2018.

We will start the morning with some light breakfast and coffee/tea.
Presentation will be given in english, but questions and discussions could also be Swedish.
